The Dunkirk, West Yorkshire

The Dunkirk in Huddersfield underwent extensive renovations and succeeded in creating a fantastic warm space. Using bright coloured glass, it ensured that the leaded lights let in plenty of light. This looks especially warm and inviting during the evenings when the bar and restaurant are most busy.

Manufacturing using only traditional methods and by a craftsman skill, each leaded light was completed by hand ensuring a bespoke finish. The colour scheme chosen by the team at Dunkirk ensured that the bar remained light and reflected the modern light oak used throughout the restaurant.

Design Glass was proud to undertake such a unique project and we now look forward to visiting the bar and restaurant in the near future.
